Responsible for the food and nutrition services department. Plans, directs, and coordinates the department to provide food and clinical nutrition service for patients, residents, Café, Bistro and for catering/special functions. Establishes excellent working relationships with other departments to ensure communication and cooperation within the hospital. Represents the hospital and interprets hospital policies for patients, residents, visitors, and the outside community. Reports to the President/CEO or designee.
Bachelor degree in field of dietetics and registered with Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, or Certified Dietary Manager with membership in The Association of Nutrition and Food Service Professionals, according to the Illinois regulations. Required Certifications ServSafe Certified. Minimum Experience 3-5 years of experience as a food service manager.
