The Director of Respiratory and Sleep Services is accountable for oversight of both the respiratory care practices and the sleep program throughout Graham Health System. This management includes but is not limited to supervision and coordination of the department and Home Medical Equipment clinical employees (related to respiratory services), day-to-day operations of the department and equipment, as well as policies, and procedures to ensure consistency with current evidenced based guidelines. In addition, the director will create and maintain the budget, measure quality, and implement performance improvement strategies.

The director also provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Reports to the Senior Director of Cardiac and Rehabilitation Services.

Completion of an approved respiratory program. Bachelor’s Degree Preferred. Preferred 5 years of hospital-based respiratory services preferred. At least 1 year of experience as Supervisor in a Current IL licensure as a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner BLS certification through AHA required. ACLS, NRP/NRP instructor preferred
