Shift: 1st Shift
This applicant under the Supervision of the Director of Food Services and/or Supervisor prepares, seasons, and cools meat items for the hospital patients, employees and visitors. The first cook is also responsible for special functions as needed.
The applicant in this position must be a high school graduate or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in large scale food preparation preferred. Knowledge of cooking methods/procedures including types of preparation and related duties. Applicant must possess the ability to stand/walk for long periods of time, lift/carry up to 25 lbs, must be able to withstand exposure to heat, steam, wetness, odors.
