The Patient Experience Specialist will focus on elevating the overall experience for patients and their families to promote positive patient outcomes and satisfaction in care. This person will also encourage an environment in which employees can excel and have a sense of professional fulfillment. The Patient Experience Specialist monitors, analyzes and reports successes, performance issues and opportunities for improvement. This position collaborates with administrators, department directors, and frontline staff and will develop a team approach that can be implemented to continually improve patient satisfaction scores and retain employees. This position reports directly to the Vice-President of Quality.
Minimum education High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years in hospitality or customer service position(s) preferred. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products, the internet, Meditech and eClinical. Ability to interact professionally with patients, family, physicians, hospital leadership, staff and the general public. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
