Department: Food and Nutrition Services
Shift: 1st Shift
The applicant in this position will work under the supervision of the Director of Food Services and/or supervisor, prepares special orders for patient needs. Prepares soups, salads, potatoes and vegetables for hospital patients, employees and visitors for the supper meal.
The applicant in this position must be a high school graduate or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in large scale food preparation preferred. Knowledge of cooking methods/procedures including types of preparation and related duties. Applicant must possess the ability to stand/walk for long periods of time, lift/carry up to 25 lbs, must be able to withstand exposure to heat, steam, wetness, odors.
